The Desk and a Hyperliquid vault can both be described as managed exposure, but the label hides the accounting and withdrawal questions that matter. Compare the provider, share or vault model, PNL basis, fees, and exit evidence for the exact product version.

The Desk has a provider and request state

The current SUIBROKERS Desk is a configured Aftermath-powered USDC vault surface. A user connects a Sui mainnet wallet, reviews a provider preview, and explicitly signs a deposit or withdrawal request. A withdrawal remains pending until provider and settlement records support a completed result.

The displayed fields do different work. A provider share or NAV value is a current estimate. An entry Points value is an estimate. PNL depends on the cost basis and verified cashflows. A pending request is not a completed cashflow. The configured terms show a 20% performance fee and no lock period, but those terms do not guarantee liquidity, timing, or a return.

Hyperliquid vaults have multiple architectures

The Hyperliquid vault documentation describes current vaults built through HyperEVM, CoreWriter, and precompiles, with customizable accounting and access to Core features. It also distinguishes legacy HyperCore vaults. A reader should record whether a page describes the current architecture, the legacy model, or a particular strategy contract.

Compare the evidence

Question The Desk Hyperliquid vault to verify
Entry USDC provider preview and signed request Vault deposit method and share accounting
Strategy record Provider metrics and available account data Strategy contract, manager, and venue records
PNL Basis, settled flows, and provider or ledger data Vault accounting and strategy reporting
Fee Configured Desk performance fee shown by the app Vault-specific fee or profit-share terms
Exit Withdrawal request, pending state, then completion Exact current withdrawal mechanics and liquidity

Suppose a reader submits a hypothetical $1,000 Desk deposit. The preview can show an estimated LP result, but only the signed request and subsequent provider and service evidence can establish what happened. If the reader later requests a withdrawal, “pending” remains the correct state until completion evidence arrives. A Hyperliquid comparison needs the same discipline: identify the vault type, inspect its accounting, and do not treat a historical PNL number as a forecast.

The planned Broker NFT Vault is a separate future product path. It should not be used as evidence for a current Desk balance or a Hyperliquid vault position.

When comparing the two, record the exact product version, provider or contract, entry event, share or vault accounting, fee terms, cashflows, and withdrawal state. A historical PNL label is not a forecast, and “pending” is an unresolved request rather than proof of loss or settlement. For the current Desk mechanics, see the USDC vault deposit and withdrawal guide; for the chain and layer comparison, see Sui and Hyperliquid.
